The carpenter bees enter the trap and get lost in the massive plastic catch chamber. The catch chamber has a large door that allows for the release of trapped bees if desired. This feature makes the STND trap catch and release if you prefer to relocate the carpenter bees. You will only need to empty the STND Trap once a season and requires no skill or chemicals. It can be sat or mounted to any wooden structure using the included hardware. It has a 5 to 15-foot range of effectiveness, but it will not attract any other type of bee, and it will not bring new carpenter bees to your property. Problem solved!
